Simple tarte flambée

Simple recipe for tarte flambée without yeast (also for the Thermomix) with various ideas for toppings from classic to sweet. A tarte flambée is a simple recipe that you can prepare without much effort. Similar to pizza, a tarte flambée consists of dough that is rolled out on a baking tray, topped and baked. The biggest difference, however, is that a tarte flambée does not contain yeast. Therefore, the tarte flambée does not need to rest and can be made in a flash.

The classic tarte flambée comes from Alsace and is topped with crème fraîche, bacon and onions. Add a little salt and pepper and the typical autumn dish is complete.

When topping the tarte flambée dough, you can let off steam according to your own taste and that of your children.

I’ll show you the most popular combinations a little further down, because first you need the basic recipe for the tarte flambée dough.

By the way, I’ve only been baking the tarte flambée on my Stoneware tray from Pampered Chef for some time now. The dough is wonderfully crispy and is absolutely no comparison to a tarte flambée from a normal baking tray. This is because the stoneware creates a real stone oven climate in your oven. Even if it isn’t exactly cheap, the investment was worth it for us. If you’re interested: Here you can find it
