Crispy Roasted Apples

Ingredients:
3–4 medium apples (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala work great)

2 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil

1–2 tbsp brown sugar or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

1/4 cup rolled oats or crushed nuts (for crunch)

Pinch of salt

Optional: a drizzle of honey, yogurt, or vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prep the apples:

Core the apples and slice into 1/4-inch thick wedges or rounds.

(Optional: Leave the peel on for extra texture and nutrients.)
