Craving homemade bread but no oven? No problem! This easy recipe lets you bake delicious white bread right on your stovetop. So you can enjoy fresh, warm bread without ever needing an oven.

Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) dry yeast

1 cup warm water (about 110°F or 43°C)

2 tablespoons olive oil (plus a little more for greasing the pan)

Additional flour for dusting

Instructions
1. Activate yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let stand until mixture becomes foamy, about 5–10 minutes.

2. Mix dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add yeast mixture and olive oil.

Mix until dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour. If it is too dry, add a little more water.

3. Knead the dough

Put the dough on a lightly floured surface. Knead for about 8-10 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.

4. Let the dough rise

Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
