Ingredients
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cups mini marshmallows
1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 ripe banana, mashed
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Directions
In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
Stir in the instant banana pudding mix until fully combined.
Remove the pot from the heat and quickly stir in the mashed banana, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Add the Rice Krispies cereal and stir until the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
If using, fold in the white chocolate chips.
Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch pan, using a spatula or wax paper to spread it evenly.
Let the treats cool and set for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
