Wow! My super picky grandson absolutely loved these!

1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
Optional: sliced mushrooms, diced bell peppers
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Cornmeal or flour for dusting
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a baking sheet with a light dusting of cornmeal or flour.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
Spread your favorite pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border.
Evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Add finely chopped pepperoni, sun-dried tomatoes, and any additional toppings like mushrooms or bell peppers.
Roll the dough into a log from the long side and slice into 1-inch sections.
Place each roll cut side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Mix melted butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and a touch of dried basil, then brush over the rolls.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Variations & Tips
For a vegetarian version, skip the pepperoni and load up on your favorite veggies like spinach, olives, or artichokes. If you’re a cheese lover, try adding some crumbled feta or goat cheese for an extra tangy flavor. You can also experiment with different herbs in the butter mixture, such as rosemary or thyme, to customize the taste to your liking. For a spicier kick, sprinkle a pinch of red pepper flakes over the rolls before baking.
