Very white grout in one pass: the method that “dissolves” dirt and removes it

1. How to Clean Grout with Baking Soda
Baking soda is the perfect solution for green cleaning enthusiasts. It has antiseptic properties that are ideal for removing residue and bacteria from any surface.

Mix warm water with baking soda until you get a creamy consistency. Use an old toothbrush to scrub between the grout lines. After about 20 minutes, wipe with a clean cloth or mop, as you normally would.

2. Use hydrogen peroxide to clean grout
Hydrogen peroxide is not only used to disinfect wounds. Its ability to remove blood or wine stains is known, but did you know that it is also one of the best products for cleaning grout?

All you need is a little hydrogen peroxide and an old toothbrush to scrub between the joints and remove all the dirt. Finally, rinse with water and a clean cloth.

3. White vinegar against dirt between the joints
Our grandmothers used vinegar to clean just about everything, and they were right. Vinegar is one of the most effective natural products for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, removing the most stubborn dirt.

Mix two equal parts vinegar and warm water and soak a cloth in the solution. Clean between the joints and, after a few minutes, wipe with a clean cloth. If the stains are old and do not come off, apply a little undiluted vinegar for a few minutes before cleaning.

4. In extreme cases, water and bleach
If the natural alternatives listed above do not give satisfactory results, there is only one way out: use bleach.

Wear gloves and pour 3 or 4 tablespoons of bleach for each liter of water. Use the solution to scrub between the joints with an old toothbrush and, after about ten minutes, wipe with a clean cloth.

Keeping the floor spotlessly clean and removing dirt between the joints is easier than you might think: immediately apply the tips described above to restore the floor to its original appearance.
