They are so good that my grandmother makes them 3 times a week!

In a food processor, blend the oats, walnuts, shelled dates, cocoa powder, and honey until well blended and a sticky dough forms.
Shape the mixture into balls or flatten it into discs.
In a double boiler or microwave, melt the chocolate with the vegetable oil until smooth.
Dip each disc of oats, walnuts, and dates into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is completely coated. Lift the pieces with a fork, letting any excess chocolate drip off. Place the chocolate-coated discs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
