Recipe: Slow Cooker Apple Kielbasa Bites
Ingredients:
1 pound kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
2 apples, cored and chopped into small pieces
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider (or apple juice)
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Lightly grease your slow cooker or use a liner for easy cleanup.
Place the sliced kielbasa evenly in the bottom of the slow cooker.
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped apples, brown sugar, apple cider, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Pour this apple mixture over the kielbasa, ensuring all pieces are coated.
Cover and cook:
On low for 3–4 hours
Or on high for 1–2 hours
until the kielbasa is heated through and the flavors have blended.
Stir gently before serving to coat everything evenly in the sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Serve hot, either on a tray with toothpicks or over your favorite side.
Tip: Keep the bites warm during events for best flavor and texture.
