The family was a big fan! I’ll be making the next one with double the ingredients.

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
2. Add the peas to the bowl and gently fold them into the dressing until they are evenly coated.
3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and diced red onion, mixing until all ingredients are well distributed.
4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
5. Give the salad a good stir before serving and enjoy!
Variations & Tips
For a healthier twist, you can substitute Greek yogurt for the sour cream to add some extra protein. If you’re looking to add more veggies, try mixing in some diced bell peppers or chopped celery for added crunch. For a bit of sweetness, toss in a handful of dried cranberries or raisins. If you’re not a fan of bacon, you can use turkey bacon or omit it entirely for a vegetarian version. Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese, such as feta or mozzarella, to suit your taste preferences.
