๐ Ingredients:
๐ฅ 6 large potatoes (e.g. Irga variety, available in any Polish store)
๐ง 50g butter
๐ฅ 150 ml milk
๐ง 150 g yellow cheese (e.g. Gouda, Cheddar or Emmental)
๐ง Salt and pepper (to taste)
๐ฅ 50 g bacon (optional, for those who like it crispy)
๐ฟ 1 tablespoon chives or parsley (to garnish)
๐ช Preparation steps:
1๏ธโฃ Prepare the potatoes:
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and dry them.
Prick each potato in several places with a fork.
Place the potatoes in an oven preheated to 200ยฐC and bake for 60 minutes until tender inside.
2๏ธโฃ Remove the flesh:
Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Cut each potato in half and carefully scoop out the flesh, leaving about 0.5cm of the skin on to help maintain the shape.
