The brine of this winter preserve is even tastier than tomatoes! Definitely worth repeating

4. Repeat this with all the liter jars. Add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to each.

5. Now pour boiling water into the jars. Cover them with sterilized lids. Place the jars in a saucepan with a towel on the bottom, in hot, but not boiling water. Wait until it boils, and sterilize for 12-15 minutes.

6. Carefully remove the jars. Add 1 teaspoon of acetic acid to each and close the lids tightly.

Turn over and wrap in a towel until completely cool. Then store in a dark place until winter. Be sure to try these tomatoes! Their brine is simply divine!
