1. Prepare the Dough
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Add the warm milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let rise for 1 ½ – 2 hours, or until doubled in size.
2. Shape the Donuts
Roll out the dough to ½-inch (1.2 cm) thickness.
Use a donut cutter (or a cup + a small cutter for the hole) to cut out donuts.
Place on a floured surface, cover, and let rest for 30 minutes.
3. Fry the Donuts
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F).
Fry 2-3 donuts at a time for 1-2 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
4. Sugar Coating & Chocolate Glaze
