List of items needed:
1 spoonful of olive oil
1 little onion, chopped
3 pieces of garlic, finely chopped
2 carrots, peeled and cut into pieces.
2 pieces of celery, cut into small pieces
1 green pepper, chopped
Half of a green cabbage, cut into pieces.
1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 ounces)
6 cups of vegetable or chicken broth
1 teaspoon of dried basil
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of salt (if desired)
2 cups of fresh spinach or kale (if desired)
1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley to use as decoration.
