Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions

In a bowl, combine the beef steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, grated ginger, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
Toast the black peppercorns in a pan without oil over medium heat until fragrant. Then roughly crush them and set aside.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan. Add the marinated beef strips and cook over high heat for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
In the remaining oil, cook the onion rings and bell pepper strips until softened. Add the chopped garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
Return the seared steak to the pan and add the toasted peppercorns. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
Plate the dish and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve hot.
