A short-lived happiness since in February 2020, just a few months after the death of her friend Luke Perry, Shannen Doherty announced the return of her cancer at stage 4. A real twist of fate for the actress who, however, refused to show fatalism. “Our lives don’t end the minute we get this diagnosis. We still have a life to live,” she declared on the show Good Morning America.
Far from letting herself be defeated, the actress had once again decided to fight. “I feel strong, in good health and confident in the future and happy,” she confided last November during a very intimate interview posted on the Entertainment Tonight YouTube account. And to have fun with the rumors made by certain People magazines: “We will bury you very quickly”. “We have infinite resources within us, and we must continue to draw on them to have the strength to face adversity and see all the beauty,” she assured again in the columns of Elle.
