5 sauerkraut
1 teaspoon salt (divided)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (divided)
5 potatoes
150g cheese (divided)
Spring onion springs
Vegetable oil
1 chicken fillet
1 carrot
1 per 200g mushrooms
1 tomato
15g butter

Instructions
Prepare the potatoes:
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices.
Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F).
Place the potato slices in a baking dish.
Drizzle with vegetable oil and season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Prepare the chicken and vegetables:
Cut the chicken fillet into thin strips.
Peel and grate the carrot.
Slice the leeks and mushrooms.
Dice the tomatoes.
Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the chicken strips and fry until they are no longer pink.
Add the grated carrots, sliced leeks, and mushrooms. Cook for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.
Add the diced tomatoes and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.
Season with the remaining teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
Assemble the dish:
Remove the partially cooked potatoes from the oven.
Place the cooked chicken and vegetable mixture on top of the potatoes.
Sprinkle 70g of cheese over the top.
Sprinkle with 15g of butter.
Bake for 5 minutes at 180°C.
Finish the dish:
Remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheese (about 80g) over the top.
Bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Garnish and serve:
Finely chop the dill and sprinkle it over the finished dish.
