Preparation:
Cut the hot dog buns open, but donât cut them all the way through.
Filling:
Spread mustard and ketchup on the buns.
Place a Vienna sausage in each one.
Spread pickled cucumber slices and fried onions over the top.
Cheese:
Sprinkle grated cheese generously over the hot dogs. If you like it extra cheesy, you can add a second layer later.
In the hot air fryer:
Place the filled buns in the insert of the hot air fryer.
Bake at 180 °C in âBakeâ mode for about 8 minutes until the cheese has melted and the buns are golden brown.
Serve:
Serve the hot dogs hot and enjoy. Itâs best to combine them with a crisp salad or a few fries.

Vegetarian:Replace the Vienna sausages with vegan alternatives â it works just as well!
