1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rotini)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Place the cooked ground beef in the slow cooker.
Add the diced bell peppers, marinara sauce, and uncooked pasta to the slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the pasta is tender.
About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and let the cheese melt.

Serve hot, and enjoy the comforting flavors of this easy, hearty dish.
Variations & Tips
For a vegetarian version, you can substitute the ground beef with a can of drained black beans or chickpeas. If you prefer a bit of spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or use a spicy marinara sauce. You can also experiment with different types of cheese, such as cheddar or provolone, for a unique flavor twist. For added nutrition, toss in a handful of fresh spinach or kale during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
