Thus, more than 800 people working in the world of culture signed a forum against the National Rally. Nagui and Sonia Rolland are notably among them.

There were many artists, then several players from the French football team including the captain of the Blues, Kylian Mbappé, who spoke about the next legislative elections. This June 23, the newspaper Le Monde published an article signed by more than 800 people from the world of culture against the National Rally. The message advocated by the media in question and by many celebrities is a sort of appeal “so that the France of the Enlightenment maintains a future”.

Many actors, such as Gilles Lellouche, Bruno Solo, Pascal Elbé, Isabelle Carré, Laurent Lafitte and Pascal Légitimus have signed this platform. Sonia Rolland, the former Miss France, who also became an actress for several series, notably on France 2, also supported this initiative. “What is the use of culture under a totalitarian regime? To become a propaganda tool. Culture is completely absent from the programs of the extreme right, yet it is the first victim when they come to power,” she declares, citing the cases of Italy and Hungary, where the extreme -right is in power. “We are in France, and I can’t imagine that one day a country like ours would be led by the far right. We cannot trivialize this after what this country has experienced. It’s insulting generations who fought for the freedom of this country, for a union,” she insists.
