Mom’s Impossible Cheeseburger Pie

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or two pie pans.

In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain the grease.

Add onion soup mix and water. Let simmer until liquid is gone.

Add the onion soup mix and 3/4 cup water to the beef. Simmer until the liquid is absorbed.

In a separate skillet, brown the chopped onions. Add to the beef mixture.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together salt, pepper, milk, eggs, and Bisquick mix until smooth.

Layer half of the beef mixture into the baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the cheese.

Add the remaining beef mixture and top with the rest of the cheese.

Pour the Bisquick mixture evenly over the entire dish.

Bake for 30 minutes.

Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.

Let cool slightly, then serve with your favorite cheeseburger toppings like ketchup, mustard, pickles, or tomatoes!
