Mini apple pies: the perfect and tasty dessert if you don’t have time

Preparation of the broken paste:

  1. In a large bowl, sift the flour and salt. Add the cold diced butter and work quickly with the fingers until a sandy mixture is obtained.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and grated lemon zest (if any) and mix well.
  3. Add the egg and knead quickly until a smooth paste is obtained. Do not work the dough too much or it will become too elastic.
  4. Wrap the dough in a plastic film and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Preparation of the trim:

  1. Peel the apples, remove the heart and cut them into thin slices.
  2. In a bowl, mix the apple slices with the lemon juice, brown sugar and cinnamon, ensuring that the apples are well coated.
