Meatballs with Mozzarella Recipe
Preparation:
Mix the minced meat with the eggs, shallot, breadcrumbs, and basil, and season generously with salt and pepper.
Form the meat into balls and flatten them between your hands to make patties. Place a ball of mozzarella on top and shape the meat around the cheese. The cheese should be completely covered.
Coat the meatballs in flour.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Brown the meatballs in a pan with hot oil. Arrange them in a dish and bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the tomato sauce and cook the pasta al dente.
Serve the meatballs with the tomato sauce and garnish with fresh basil.
