Step 1: Combine the chicken patties
In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken Ranch seasoning mix, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
If the mixture is too runny or loose, add breadcrumbs and egg. Stir briefly – do not overmix.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into burger patties.
Step 2: Cook the Patties
Grill Method:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Lightly oil the grill grate.
Grill patties for about 6-7 minutes per side, until an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached.
Stovetop Method:
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Cook patties for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 3: Toast the Buns
Toast buns on the grill or in a dry skillet until golden brown.
Step 4: Assemble the Burgers
Spread ranch dressing on the bottom of the bun.
Lettuce, chicken patty, tomatoes, and optional toppings.
Top with the other half of the bun.
