I Walked With Salt in My Socks 40 Minutes Before Bed: My Review of the Salt in My Socks Ritual

When I came home, I remembered that my grandmother always kept a small pillow of salt that she placed under her aching feet.

Then I decided to perform a similar procedure to eliminate the negative and relax my legs.

I didn’t have towels like my grandmother, but I heard you could pour salt into your socks and walk like that for 40 minutes.

I found some socks and poured in some salt, but it started leaking through the socks.

What to do? I took bags of food, poured a tablespoon of salt into each and put them on my feet. Then I put socks on top.

I used regular salt and fine salt, although they say it’s better to use coarse salt.

And so, I wandered around the house for 40 minutes. Why exactly 40 minutes – I don’t know!

There was no feeling of discomfort. The only thing is that the feet in the bags did not breathe and were sweaty.

Some moments were very pleasant. My heels felt like they were getting a massage. And the rustling of the bags in my socks calmed me. I don’t know why, but it was like that.
