If you fill normal vinegar into a spray bottle, spray it onto the toilet and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, the unpleasant smell disappears by itself. And the plaque is wiped with a brush and washed with water.
For safety reasons, I repeat the process twice.
Good old bleach
I had a case: an unpleasant smell came from the shower. I even tried to eliminate the constipation, but there was no result.
I filled it overnight with bleach and the problem was gone. Also works with the toilet:
add bleach before bedtime (it is important that no one else goes to the toilet)
Lower the toilet lid and leave it until the morning
In the morning you can use a brush and the toilet will shine again
