Inside our oven, encrusted grease and other food residues accumulate and, over time, harden to the point of becoming practically impossible to eliminate without using a dedicated product.

The problem is that most of these products are full of chemicals and are really aggressive. Although they are effective against dirt, they are bad for our health and there is a risk that they end up in our food.

To put the method into practice we need a pot suitable for cooking in the oven. These are pots that can withstand very high temperatures, almost always made of ceramic, soapstone, cast iron or stainless steel.

Fill the pot with water, then pour half a glass of vinegar and the juice of a lemon. The steam from this solution will help to descale the oven and neutralize bad odors.

Set the oven to 250 degrees, then put the pot in and let it act for 30 minutes.

Immediately after, turn off the oven and let it cool. Before it is completely cold, being careful not to burn yourself, use a cloth or sponge to remove all the residue, which will come off easily.
