Homemade Meatballs with Spaghetti

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Meatball Mixture:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
Use your hands to gently mix the ingredients until well combined.
2. Form the Meatballs:

Shape the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, rolling them between your palms. Place the formed meatballs on a plate or baking sheet.
3. Cook the Meatballs:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through.
Remove the cooked meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
4. Cook the Spaghetti:

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
Once cooked, drain the spaghetti and set aside.
5. Prepare the Sauce:

In the same skillet used to cook the meatballs, add the marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
6. Combine Meatballs with Sauce:

Return the cooked meatballs to the skillet with the simmering marinara sauce. Gently toss to coat the meatballs in the sauce.
Allow the meatballs to simmer in the sauce for an additional 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld together.
7. Serve:

To serve, portion the cooked spaghetti onto individual plates or a large serving platter.
Top the spaghetti with the meatballs and marinara sauce.
Garnish with additional grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
8. Enjoy:

Serve the Homemade Meatballs with Spaghetti hot and enjoy this comforting and classic dish!
Optional:
Feel free to sprinkle some red pepper flakes for a hint of spice or add some sautéed vegetables like bell peppers and onions for extra flavor and nutrition.
