1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
2. Prepare a béchamel sauce by adding 150g of cheese.
3. To assemble the croque-cake, remove the crusts from the bread and cut the slices to fit the loaf pan.
4. Place a layer of bread in the bottom of the pan, add a layer of ham, and pour a layer of béchamel sauce over the top.
5. Repeat the same process until the pan is full. 6. Cover with a layer of bread.
7. Add a layer of grated cheese.
8. Bake for 30 minutes.
9. Remove from the mold and serve.
