Don’t make the mistake of throwing away tea bags – they’re worth their weight in gold when used this way.

Chimney: place them on the ashes to prevent them from relighting. So you can clean the fireplace without any danger.
Bathroom: add them to the bathtub for a delicate fragrance that’s also relaxing. What’s more, the antioxidants in tea are good for the skin.
Insect bites: simply place the used cold tea bag on the bite. This will reduce itching and relieve pain.
Carpet: if it’s starting to smell but you’ve washed it recently, sprinkle the dry tea bag over it. Leave it there for a while before vacuuming.
Hair: for oily hair, this is very useful. Tea eliminates impurities. Simply place a few tea bags in hot water and leave for a while. Rinse your hair after shampooing and do not rinse with water.
Shoes: here too, you can eliminate the bad smell. Use the same method as for carpets.
Sunburn: whether sunburned or caused by minor domestic accidents, simply apply the wet sachet for immediate relief.
Eyes: you can use them to soothe tired eyes. Simply place them on your eye, lie down and leave them to work for around 30 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water.
Here are just a few of the ways you can recycle tea bags before they end up in the garbage can. Try a few too!
