Do you suddenly feel like having a really delicious pizza? Then you should definitely try this crispy puff pastry pizza with hearty salami.

Ingredients:
• 1 roll of puff pastry (from the refrigerated section) 🥐
• About 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce or pizza sauce 🍅
• 100 g grated cheese (mozzarella) 🧀
• 18 slices of salami 🍕
• About 2 teaspoons of Italian herbs 🌿

Preparation:
Total time: About 20-25 minutes
1. Prepare the puff pastry:
• Take the puff pastry out of the fridge and roll it out on a baking tray. If the dough is rectangular, you can cut it into smaller pizza pieces, as you like.
• Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat).
2. Spread with tomato sauce:
• Spread the puff pastry evenly with about 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce or pizza sauce. Make sure you leave the edge free so that it becomes nice and crispy later.
3. Top with cheese and salami:
• Spread the grated cheese (e.g. mozzarella) evenly over the pizza.
• Place the salami slices on top. If you like it spicier, you can also add a little pepper or a pinch of chili.
4. Add herbs:
• Sprinkle the Italian herbs (e.g. oregano, basil and thyme) generously over the pizza to give it the typical pizza taste.
5. Bake:
• Now bake the pizza in the preheated oven for around 15-20 minutes until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
6. Serve:
• Take the finished pizza out of the oven and garnish with fresh basil as desired. Cut into pieces and enjoy!
