For the Honey Butter Syrup:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp maple syrup
Preparation:
Preheat a mini waffle maker. Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions. Stir in cheese or jalapeños if using.
Spoon batter into the waffle maker and cook until golden and crisp. Repeat until all batter is used.
In a small saucepan, melt butter, then stir in honey and maple syrup. Heat until warm and combined.
Serve waffle bites warm with a drizzle of honey butter syrup.
