Canned beans for the winter: a recipe every housewife should know

Place the beans in a saucepan, add water, and place on the stove.

Bring to a boil and skim off any foam. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.

Drain the water, refill the beans with fresh water, and return them to the stove.

Preparation:

When the water boils, add 2 tablespoons of salt and 2 tablespoons of sugar to the beans. Stir and cook over low heat until tender, making sure the beans remain intact and are not overcooked.

Preparing the Jars:

While the beans are cooking, wash and sterilize the half-liter jars. For 1 kg of beans, you will need 6 cans, leaving a few beans for regular use.
