AndA simple trick that allowed me to save 10 cubic meters of water per month

Lately I have been thinking about our electricity bills, especially after discovering that the water consumption in our house is significantly higher than average. According to statistics, a person spends on average about 5 cubic meters of water per month, but our figures were different.

It all started when I reported my experience when I contacted the water department due to an incorrect receipt stating that we had used 140 cubic meters of water in one month. The error was corrected and it turned out that our actual consumption was 47 cubic meters, which seemed incredibly high for three people.

When I thought about this, I decided to check for myself how our meter worked. I did it in a simple way: I remembered the last digit of the meter, poured three liters of water into a jar and checked the changes. The meter worked perfectly.
