Effective methods for keeping bananas ripe at room temperature
If you want to keep the ripe bananas at room temperature, you can try both of the following methods:
Use newsprint
Wraping bananas in newsprint reduces their exposure to air and light. The newsprint helps to maintain a stable temperature and slows down the process of ripening the bananas. Wrap each banana individually, avoiding wrapping them all together to avoid bruising. In addition, keep the wrapped bananas in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight. Storing bananas with newsprint can keep them fresh for about 3 to 5 days.
Steps:
1. Wrap each banana firmly in newsprint.
2. Place them in a basket or tray and place them in a cool, ventilated place.
