Preheat oven to 200°C (conventional) or 180°C (convection oven).
Roll out the puff pastry and cover with ham.
Sprinkle the cheese evenly over the top.
Roll up from the long side and cut into slices approximately 1.5–2cm thick.
Place the snails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Whisk the egg and brush the snails with it.
Bake: approx. 15–20 minutes, until golden brown.
🔁 Tips & Variations:
You can also use milk or cream instead of eggs for brushing.
Optionally, you can season with herbs (e.g., oregano or chives) – but then it counts as the 5th ingredient. 😉
