Ingredients:
4 to 4½ pounds peaches (about 14–18 medium) 🍑
½ cup water 💧
4 cups granulated sugar 🍬
Directions:
Prep the Peaches: Rinse peaches under cool running water.
Blanch: Place peaches in boiling water for 30–60 seconds, then transfer to an ice water bath to cool.
Peel & Pit: Drain, then cut peaches in half, remove pits, and peel off skins.
Slice: Cut peaches into quarters or smaller pieces and place them in a large saucepan.
